Since February is the month for lovers with Valentine's Day and all I decided to make a canvas for my art room showcasing our wedding day! I had alot of fun making this and took a few pictures outlining the process but got a little too into it and forgot to take more along the way! Here's a few pictures of the start of the canvas:
1. I took a 12 x 12 blank canvas and Gesso'd it and then layered some of the items onto it that I wanted to use just to play around with the placement of things before I permanently adhered them.
2. I glued a wedding picture of us on and as well as various papers. The pink floral lace paper was originally white but I used pink glimmer mist on it.
3. I didn't care for the yellow stenciled numbers so I painted them white and then glued them onto the canvas. I also used Light Molding Paste for added texture.
4. As you can see things were starting to come together and I added the fabulous Kissing Couple stamp by Viva Las VegaStamps!
as well as the 6 Hexagon background stamp by Viva Las VegaStamps!
and the Writing Arrow stamp by Viva Las VegaStamps!
and then I must have gotten totally sucked into making this because the next picture I have is the finished canvas!
and here is a close up of the fabulous stamp

Oh wow Glenda! Now that I have a creative space of my own, I totally have to make me some canvasses too... I want a wall like that! Can you come over please *sigh*
I love this idea of making a collage to mark your wedding day or some other memorable event. They all look great on that wall!
